Periodical Cicadas Found in Forestdale

Magicicada exuvia

Brood XIV in Sandwich Ma.Well, three days off of my prediction isn't bad really! Thanks to my good friend Lisa from Mashpee, who sent in a report of the first adult cicadas found along with a bunch of exuvia on West Road in Forestdale. I suspect that this evening we will see a lot of nymphs emerging from the ground. If you spot any please remember to report in!

Areas on the map which were pink to indicate immature nymph sightings will need to be rechecked and marked with a red pip to indicate full adult sightings.
