Cicada Killers sighted in Blackstone, Ma.

Large 1.5" red legs orange colored wings black body with yellow stripes. Borrows were visible in our flower beds last summer. We unfortunately killed one because we did not know what it was and we were afraid it would sting the children or pets.

we live in Whitinsville MA and we have had the Cicada Killers in our yard for the past two years, they have been burrowing in our patio, very large, black with orange wings and yellow strips
