Thanks for the photo. Yep, that confirms it. That is indeed a cicada killer. Right now, there are 15 burrows which the female makes. Later on there will be more. Not to worry though they will only be around for about a month then they will be gone and they are harmless, they won't bother you. They are a very non-aggressive wasp.
