Periodical Cicadas from LaGrange, GA

First noticed April 25th. Even the tornadoes didn't drive them away! Even when the wind isn't blowing it seems the trees are moving. Looks like a hive of bees someone disturbed.

Thanks for the report. I too am glad that the tornadoes didn't seem to do the Magicicadas any harm.

You indicate in your sighting report that it is noisy. I am curious as to the decibel levels that you are hearing. Thanks for the cool photo. I seem to recognize M. tredecim in the center of the photo and it seems that you also managed to capture an image of another cicada that didn't quite make it through the molt process.
