Hi Roy,

Thanks for the cool photos of a Tibicen pronotalis female. (Formerly T. walkeri and formerly T. marginalis).

After studying these images closely, you seem to have done a pretty decent job of making this specimen look alive by posing it on the tree and leaf. However, I one can tell that it is newly dead by how the legs are positioned and the eyes are just starting to fade.

Also,you also state that it was found dead.
